Sandra Ruggiero

Sandra Is a retired educator having taught in kindergarten through high school over her career. She joined the board in 2024, but she has supported the organization since it began. “I became hooked when a child our family sponsored was ‘sold to an uncle’ but because this child was sponsored, Kisoboka was able to persuade the parents to bring her back and keep her in school. This girl now has a job and is living independently.” In 2024 Sandra finally went to Uganda with Kisoboka and was captivated by the children and faculty. She was impressed with the energy, dedication, and enthusiasm of the teachers of Kisoboka Primary and High School and is excited to support them in educating the children of Bakka.
